Kens Orks Work In Progress - 1
MiniWarGaming.com has a GREAT forum, I would suggest it to any War Gaming Fan, It has a fantastic 40k Tactica section and also has terrain and modeling section, In the painting section of the forum they have a weekly painting pledge, its based on the honor system but its a great motivator!! at the begining of the week you post your pledge it can be big, small, easy difficult, what ever anything from i pledge to paint 10 Orks (like i did) or, i pledge to get the base coat done on my terrain project. Once you complete your pledge you post that you have completed it and you can add a picture, Plus you get a reward!!! yea I know how cool is that, you get a ribbon in your forum signature for completing 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 painting pledges, they also have Ribbons for an activity they call Group Build, which we can cover at a later date
So I decided to make a pledge for this week, my pledge was to finish 10 random Orks, i ended up painting 8 boyz, a Nob and a Grot. They turned out pretty decent, i forgot to finish the skull on the Nobs head, but ehh, i'll get to it before the end of the week.
